Moose Trail Beads is located in Presque Isle, Maine. Presque Isle is a small city in Northern Maine with a population of just over 10,000. We are a husband and wife team (Jim & Cindy) that started making lampwork beads in 2004 as a part time hobby/business and it has turned into a full time profession. We have a small 2 torch studio in our home and really enjoy what we are doing, no stress which is great. We specialize in lampwork beads, lampwork bead necklaces, bracelets, pendants and earrings which are all made here by us, and by the way the lampwork jewelry that we make is made from our own beads. We do not use any molds in making our beads, just a couple of shaping tools, therefore each bead is unique to itself. We have added wooden knitting needles to our line of products. We usually use oak to make our needles and decorate them with our lampwork beads.
